I was told I needed to post something, so I thought I would.

Something about me? Ok, sure I'd love to talk about myself!

Right now I'm sort of into Chinese Brushwork. I have a book from a long time ago that teaches you basic strokes, but I'm using it more to get a feel for the style. So far I'm remotely close to being happy with two small drawings. Unfortunately, one of them is on the front of the stationary I used to write my friend a letter. I'll try to get that one up soon. The other is a landscape, and actually has color! (I know, how daring of me...)

If anyone has any tips on drawing somewhat realistic (but simple, as per the style) bamboo, please let me know. I've utterly failed up until now, whereas most of the other subjects (flowers, landscapes, old men in boats, etc) are slowly but surely improving.
